Food storage containers

Anyone have an opinion (silly question) on the best Tupperware-like containers for storing leftovers in the fridge?
I saw some Pyrex containers at Andronico's the other day. I like the idea of glass versus plastic, and they weren't that much more than the Rubbermaid alternative.
Has anyone used these? Does the lid seal as well as Tupperware/Rubbermaid? Does anyone know where they can be found for less than Andronico's is charging?
Thanks for any input.

Alternate storage containers:

I use Pyrex (glass) containers which I purchased at Meijer to reheat and store leftovers. They can also go in the freezer and be used for baking. I use them to store most of my pantry items also. They do have a plastic lid (that is not oven-safe), but the food usually doesn't touch the lid. There are other brands as well, sold at most "super-store" dept. stores.

Pyrex® is still 100% American-made.

I love their new glass food storage containers. The little round two-cup containers make nice custard cups for stove-top egg custard. They will be excellent for leftover gravy and pasta sauce for reheating in the mic.
They are great for butter too as it can be easily softened and melted in the mic.
Tupperware-type plastics don't take the mic too well.
