I have limited cabinets

In my kitchen. I have some inenxpensive furniture i use for storage. a used ikea china cabinet and used ikea buffet or server. I have a couple of shelves up. if you have the floor space you might look for some type of cabinet. some people will sell a large china cabinet cheaply because the size makes it hard to sell quickly.
if floor space is limited than you might have to go with intalling wall shelves.
even a used credenza might work in the kitchen. any type of furniture used might work.

I see nothing wrong with Ikea, even if you do

More high-end things. Ikea offers great storage solutions. I love the Billy bookshelves with the CD inserts. I have a massive collection of CDs (over 2,000) and it's the only system that really works well for me. They have solid wood kitchen cabinets that are really nice, a few pieces of furniture that are made of real wood, decent children's furniture. I'm not a fan of their sofas, but if you're on a budget and want something that looks good they certainly fit the bill. They will last until you're ready to buy something much higher in quality. Not everything they have is for everyone, but they do have something for everyone
